Unlike conventional Torsen LSDs, which can reach their limits under high load, the Metal Plate LSD ensures the power you generate goes straight to the ground, maximizing traction and enhancing control.

Each Metal Plate LSD is Diamond Cut with precise tolerances from high-quality forged High-Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum Steel. This precision cutting and the superior materials ensure a perfect fit and finish, allowing for hassle-free installation and maintenance every time, no matter the application.

Designed with advanced SolidWorks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software, the MFactory Metal Plate LSD leverages cutting-edge gear geometry. This design minimizes energy losses within the drivetrain, meaning more power is transferred directly to the wheels. Race transmissions built with MFactory components consistently achieve 1-2% higher power transfer efficiency compared to competitors.

Every differential undergoes rigorous Stress Testing on loaded dynos to verify its strength. This testing ensures the LSD can withstand the sudden shocks encountered in racing while being robust enough to handle the variable loads of everyday driving.

For racing enthusiasts, the Metal Plate LSD is Fully Adjustable at-the-Track. You can adjust initial pre-load or lock percentage directly on the track without requiring special tools (though it may require transmission disassembly). This flexibility allows you to fine-tune your LSD settings based on your unique driving needs and conditions.

The Metal Plate LSD features a Coil Spring Pre-Load System (application-dependent), providing smooth power transitions and exceptional throttle response. This system eliminates the jerky "on/off" feel common in older designs, creating a smoother driving experience and improving performance during high-speed maneuvers.

Our latest 3rd Generation Design (application-dependent) represents over 15 years of research and development. Traditional plate LSDs can suffer from a weak point where the "ears" on the plates may break under stress. Our v3 Metal Plate LSD incorporates 2nd Generation Active Friction Plates—originally developed for our competition Touring Cars—with reinforced ears, significantly boosting durability. Additionally, our Cold-Forged Spider Gears now feature an advanced ceramic surface coating, which reduces surface friction and increases hardness by 30%.

Partnering with OZ Performance Drivetrain in Australia, we proudly introduce the v3 Metal Plate LSD - OZ Series for BMW and Honda. Recognizing that some plate LSDs may generate Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) during low-speed driving, especially in daily use, our OZ Series integrates oil channels and a proprietary 3-Stage Nano-Peen process in the Active Friction Plates. This unique design reduces NVH by up to 50%, making it suitable for both street and track applications.

Due to the nature of For Race Use Only products, MFactory Competition Products provides a limited 1-year warranty (excluding maintenance parts) on all Metal Plate LSDs, warranting them to be free of defects in materials and workmanship upon receipt of the product and professional installation. Parts returned must be determined by MFactory Competition Products to be defective before any warranty credit or replacement is issued.

MFactory Competition Products' warranty obligation is limited to repairing or replacing, at its discretion, any part proven defective. Customers must prepay transportation charges for returning products under warranty consideration.

The final determination of the suitability of the products for the intended use is solely the buyer's responsibility. MFactory Competition Products shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including claims for delay, loss of profits, or labor, that might arise from the failure of any part.

Note: MFactory Competition Products WILL NOT provide a warranty for parts used for Rally purposes.
